Pomona Beautiful
“Pomona Beautiful” is a grassroots Citywide beautification effort promoted by Mayor Tim Sandoval. He has coordinated weekly volunteer clean-ups nearly every Tuesday, and Saturday.
Because of the extreme heat, the cleanup scheduled for Tuesday, August the 25, has been canceled and will be rescheduled for some time in September.

For years, many residents and others in the city have “taken ownership” of the community — from alleys to neighborhoods — and worked to find solutions to problems. If more people do the same, Pomona, which is set for a renaissance, will thrive.
Taking ownership of the city will bring a change in mindset, and will lead to a more successful Pomona.
